Hello everyone:
You will find that life in Vava'u is one of the greatest adventures you could ever experience. I spent several months living there and was very sad when I had to leave. I would love nothing more to return there and live out my life. It's a very simple and quite care free life that you have there. The people there are so friendly and will go to any lenghts to help out a traveler.
You will have the feeling of being at home when you go there and one of the nicest places to stay while there I believe was the Port Wine Guest House, the owner is Luisa and all her nieces, they will make you feel like part of their family. So please if you ever want to have a most unforgetable vacation go to Neiafu, Vava'u, Tonga and visit Lusia at the Port Wine Guest House.
